Frequently Asked Questions

Order & Printing Process

Wisconsin Red has developed a hybrid process for orders and printing that allow us to offer our awesome designs in the most cost-effective manner possible and ensure that they're delivered in a timely fashion.  The process differs based on the type of order.  Through our site, we offer both pre-orders and on-demand orders.  We outline the differences below: 

Pre-orders:  Pre-orders / Event-specific orders are limited edition items with a defined order start date and order deadline that is noted specifically by collection or product.  By offering products this way for campus, city, or large group events, we are able to keep costs to a minimum and print on very specific garment types and materials.  Pre-orders are date-specific, and we typically offer price-breaks for ordering early.  In other words, if you don't procrastinate, you win.  Pre-orders are printed and shipped on defined dates and will arrive prior to your event.  You will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail when your item ships, and shipments usually take 1-3 days, depending on your ship-to location. We screen print almost all pre-order shirts on pre-shrunk 50% cotton / 50% polyester shirts.  

On-Demand orders:  All other orders placed through our site - products that are listed continuously with no defined start & end date - are printed on-demand, meaning we do not keep regular inventory and you can order at will.  Each order is printed and shipped individually as it is received.  These orders are fulfilled and sent out in about 2-7 days and shipping time is approximately 3-5 business days.  Because the cost of printing one garment at a time is higher, the cost to you is higher (in comparison to our pre-orders).  These items are printed Direct-to-Garment on pre-shrunk 100% cotton shirts.

* Because the two processes are a little different, the image sizes and colors may vary slightly between the two.

I see a "Local Pickup" option for shipping on my pre-order.  What's that?  

There are very few events or group orders that we offer a "Local Pickup" option for.  If we do, we provide a pickup location, dates, and times listed by collection or product.  Please review this information carefully.  "Local Pickup" is a no-charge option, but if selected, you accept 100% responsibility for picking up the items at the specified location, date, and time.  We will not modify these times to accommodate your schedule.  This is a non-refundable option unless we make a mistake or cannot find an agreeable replacement for your item.  Shipping an item after an event is rare, but if we can make it happen, will incur additional charges billed via PayPal.       

What types of payment do you accept?

Sorry, we are no longer accepting your bags of change. But we will accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. We also take debit and check cards as long as they are associated with a major credit company.  When using PayPal, you will be temporarily re-directed to the PayPal site to complete your order. 

I don't think my order confirmation was received.

After submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Wisconsin Red. This confirmation is sent within minutes after an order is placed. Please be sure to check your spam folders and add Wisconsin Red to your contacts.  If you do not receive this confirmation, it is most likely due to an error in your e-mail address (e.g. typo). In this case, please e-mail wisconsinred1@gmail.com to let them know that you haven't received your order confirmation e-mail. Be sure to provide your order number, full name, e-mail address, and street address used in the order as well as the order date.

Can I change or cancel my order?  What about returns?

Pre-orders can only be changed or cancelled before the order deadline.  Please make note of this deadline for each product.  After the order deadline, your order cannot be changed or cancelled.  

On-demand orders unfortunately cannot be changed or cancelled once placed.  Each shirt is printed on demand and made to order.  We don't keep any stock, so each shirt is handled individually and sent to production almost immediately after our team receives it. Please make sure all information is correct before submitting your order. 

Returns:  Because pre-orders are printed in limited quantities and because on-demand orders are printed individually, we cannot accept returns in most instances. However, if we screw up an order or the quality of your shirt or print fails you, then of course we will make things right. But if you decide you would prefer a different size, or you just change your mind about your purchase (after pre-order deadline or on-demand purchase), I'm afraid we just can't help you.

I placed an order over two weeks ago.  Why isn't it here yet? 

Did you place a pre-order for a specific event or limited edition deadline?  If you're not sure, please see the collection or product information. If the description lists the item(s) as a pre-order, those items will begin shipping on the estimated date(s) listed.  For more information, please see the full explanation for a "pre-order" above.  Please note, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail as soon as your item ships. 

If your placed an on-demand order over two weeks ago and you have not received your item(s) or received confirmation of shipping, please contact us at wisconsinred1@gmail.com.

I accidentally listed the wrong shipping address and my item has already shipped.  What Now? 

Although we wish we could be, we are definitely not psychic.  It is 100% your responsibility to include the correct shipping address for your order(s).  We ship to the shipping address you provide us, so please take a moment to ensure accuracy of both your billing and shipping addresses (and differentiate between the two).  We do not accept responsibility for orders that shipped to the wrong address, or for shipments that are deemed "undeliverable" by the USPS, based on an error you made.  If this is the case, we will also not refund your order if your item is received after your event date, regardless of the date you placed your order.

I'm having trouble ordering an item. The site says my cart is empty.

We're aware of issues with certain browsers and we're looking into it. If you're not already, we recommend using a Chrome or Firefox browser when ordering.  If you are attempting to order via mobile (phone) and it is not working please troubleshoot by attempting to order from a computer.
